Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality (Romans 12:10-13 NKJV).

Ministry is about serving people with needs.

Within the church. The New Testament is replete with “one another” passages which admonish believers to meet the needs of their own within the body of Christ.

“Love one another” (1 Peter 1:22; 1 John 4:11)
“Serve one another” (Galatians 5:13)
“Be hospitable to one another” (1 Peter 4:9)
“Stimulate one another to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24)

Without the church. We are also commanded to love those who do not have faith in Christ and to seek to share with them the love of Christ and His gospel. Jesus told His disciples, “You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8 NASB).

We encourage all of our members, through prayer and careful discernment, to wisely and faithfully exercise their spiritual gifts, helping to edify those within the church and to evangelize those without.

While our ministry “programs” serve as platforms for organizing and evaluating our service for Christ, our people are the channels through whom God works to meet needs of others for His glory.
