In this chapter, the children of Israel finally reach the foot of Mt. Sinai where they will enter into a special covenant with their God. But first, the LORD reminds them that they were specially chosen by Him to be His people. This unique relationship they share with the LORD as His "chosen ones" (1 Chron 16:13) is marked by several important qualities.
