As we have already seen, union with Christ is the source of the believer's new life as well as the source of every blessing of salvation. Although this union is called a "mystery," it nevertheless culminates in the believer's actual walk with the Lord. In other words, union with Christ is the source of the energy we need to live the Christian life. We can see the application of this energy in at least two central areas.
