Abraham was divinely chosen to communicate the knowledge of Jehovah to his descendants. In a similar way, Christian parents are charged with the responsibility to disciple their children after them (Eph. 6:4). In this text, the Lord Himself outlines the shape of Abraham’s responsibility, encouraging us to embrace three essential lessons about discipling the next generation.
