As we have seen in recent weeks through the study of this text, seeking and setting one’s mind upon the “above” things means, in essence, loving the above things with a fervent devotion. But how does the believer in Christ learn to love the Lord and the things of the Lord in this way? The answer to this important question will be set forth through three critical observations.
