Because our “old man” has been put off and our “new man” has been put on in Christ, we are called to imitate that change by putting off sinful behavior and clothing ourselves with Christ-like behavior. As we continue to gain a fuller understanding of the implications of this new life in Christ, we must note at least three aspects of Paul’s clothing metaphor.
