We see in king Hezekiah another example of a good Davidic king in his purification of the Jerusalem temple and its ceremonies. The Chronicler's account of his life teaches us to submit to the authority of Christ, to have zeal for true worship, to expect mockery from those who hate the Lord, to give generously to the work of the risen Christ, and to glory in our Lord Jesus Christ, the true son of David, who is the true temple.
