Jesus not only made us to glorify his name, he actually has set about to bring that restoration about through his bloody death on the cross. The firstborn of creation is the firstborn from the dead. The Sovereign King of all creation is also the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, all in order that we may be people who in the end still bring him the glory due his name.
