Having compared Plato and Aristotle and the impact of their teachings on Christian thought, we continue by looking specifically at how Platonism was discovered and used by the church. In these two sessions, we look at the rise and decline of Platonism in the history of the church, and briefly at several men whose Christian thought was influenced by Platonism: Augustine and Boethius.
