Proclaiming the Lord’s Death

Paul tells us that when we gather around the Lord’s Table we “proclaim” His death until He comes. Since the word “proclaim” is normally used to speak of preaching about Christ, how do we proclaim Christ through Communion? An understanding of the significance of the Table suggests two ways we proclaim the Lord’s death.
