It is said that Zacchaeus, as an old man would leave his home in Jericho every morning and walk to the edge of the village for a time of quiet meditation beneath an old tree – the very place where he had first met the Lord. The Lord’s Table is our regular visit to Calvary where in quietness of soul we remember the price Christ paid for our redemption.
