So where do we go from here? We liked things the way they were before! The seven dying words of the church are well known - "We've never done it that way before!" The children of Israel were up against an incredible endeavor. Jericho was before them and God is about to give Joshua some very unusual directions. When God calls His people to do something new, He also gives them the instructions on how to do it. Sometimes His plans may seen strange and yet His ways are always perfect (II Samuel 22:31). It boils down to this: Is it really about God or is it about me?
