Bowing Before the Sovereign God
Job 42
Speaker
Sunday Morning Service,  October 1, 2023

Ultimately, the book of Job is not as much about suffering as it is about relationship, specifically Job's relationship with God. In the midst of difficult circumstances, our relationship with God often suffers as we question his benevolence. Job is finally going to submit to God's sovereignty in his life and have his relationship to God restored. Speaker
Sunday Morning Service,  September 24, 2023

Job 34-35
Speaker
Sunday Morning Service,  September 10, 2023

It is easy to lose sight of who God is and how he works when we are struggling through difficult circumstances. It is hard to see the truth and accept God's plan for us. Too often we construct our understanding of God through the lens of our experience rather than the truth of Scripture. Elihu is going to call Job, and us, to choose to believe what is truly right about God regardless of our experience or ideas.
God Is Speaking - Are You Listening?
Job 32-33

Sunday Morning Service,  September 3, 2023

Often in the midst of our difficulties, we feel like God is not speaking to us. However, at times God will communicate to us through unexpected people who point us to the truth when we cannot see it. Are you listening to God?
