Christmas is more than just our cultural traditions. It is also much more than our American church traditions. The original announcement of Christ's birth not only contained the information concerning his birth but also the real significance of the birth of Jesus.

God is impartial. The impartial God will judge every man one day based on his obedience to the law, whether held in your hand or written on your heart.

After having declared the depraved Gentile world as without excuse before the wrath of God, Paul addresses the moral man. He finds him without excuse as well and under the judgment of a just and wrathful God. However, even in his wrath, God is also the God of kindness, forbearance and patience.

Along with all of the joys that accompany a discipleship relationship, there are also many dangers and hazards. One must be aware of both to successfully participate in a discipleship ministry.

There are serious consequences when someone refuses to acknowledge God for who he is and worship him. When we set up and worship our own idols and refuse to acknowledge God, his wrath will rest upon us and there will be serious judgment.

Throughout this lesson we discuss very practical steps to discipling one another and answer essential questions about discipleship.

At the same time that the righteousness of God is being revealed and the wrath of God is being revealed, the of God is being suppressed by the unrighteousness of men. What exactly is the truth that men are suppressing and how do they suppress it in unrighteousness?

Nothing keeps people away from Christ more than their inability to see their need of him or their unwillingness to admit it. In the next section of Romans, Paul proves the universality of human sin. That sin places sinners under the wrath of an almighty God.

Without the use of the Word of God, there is no discipleship. Discipleship takes place as we apply the Word of God to our lives and thereby are changed to be more like Christ.
