Since the deliverance of His people from Egypt, to His guiding them in the wilderness, to their gathering at Sinai, God had revealed to them His glory. This manifestation of God's glory, recently suspended because of sin, is what Moses craves in this text. His plea, "Show me Your glory," as well as the appearance of God's glory in Exodus, leaves us with several burning questions.
