Believers are those who have found forgiveness through faith in the death of Christ for their sins and His resurrection. But adoption is wonderful aspect of our salvation that goes beyond forgiveness to welcome the believer into the very family of God as a son or daughter. In fact, it is arguable that adoption—having God as Father—is the highest benefit that we can possibly know as a believer in Christ, for two reasons.
