Malachi 3:13 - 4:4
Speaker's Picture
Sunday School,  May 13, 2012

The structure of Malachi takes the form of six disputations between God and ancient Israel. The sixth and final such disputation demonstrates the depth to which their external and formal religion had taken them. They had concluded that it was vain and profitless to serve God and that God blessed disobedience. Nothing could be further from the truth and is an inversion of true spirituality.
