God is righteous in all His ways which includes his judgment against those who persecuted the Thessalonian Christians. They will be troubled by God with horrible recompense for their unbelief and hateful sin. This righteous judgment will take place at the Return of Christ in glory. Their fate will be everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord.
