How We Got Our New Testament – Part 3
How We Got Our New Testament – Part 3
2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:20-21

Wednesday Evening Service, April 23, 2014
The New Testament is comprised of 27 “books”—no greater, no fewer. But because we believe that the Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice, a limited number of books raises several questions: Why these and these only 27 books? Are the Greek copies of the original writings of these books accurate? Do we have competent English translations of these books? And what about the books that were left out of the New Testament? Why they not included? This series presents biblical and historical answers to these questions, reminding us that when we open our New Testaments we are opening the very Word of God.
