When God speaks to Moses in this text, Moses is at his lowest ebb, defeated, scorned, angry, and utterly helpless. However, it is from this depth that Moses will witness the incredible power of God. It is here that we begin to see the power of God revealed through the Exodus. Here, we can discern three encouraging qualities of God's sheer power:
