1 Thessalonians was written to a group of young Christians with whom Paul had only had a limited time for discipleship. Though the church was doing well in many respects, there were issues that needed to be dealt with and serious questions that had arisen. What can we learn from this church and from Paul’s admonitions to this church in order to live our lives in such a way as to please God in light of Jesus’ return?
