Why were the Thessalonians anxious in mind? What false doctrine was being spread in that church? Paul assures the saints there that they had not missed the gathering of the saints to Christ and that the Day of the Lord had not yet come. He proves this by showing that Day of the Lord events had not yet taken place and urges them to remember his teaching.
