“He’s so heavenly minded he’s of no earthly good.” Peter, were he to have heard this old sardonic remark, would not have thought it too funny. Peter believed that Christians ought to have so powerful a vision of the glorious future promised to believers that this vision transformed their lives in the present. No one who is truly heavenly minded will allow their life to remain unaltered. This text teaches us that Our Future Must Change our Present.
